First One & Still Not Done

Wow, my first blog post.....

I am that person who has been wanting and SAYING I will start a blog, but I just "didn't have the time." Well, here's to no more excuses ! My very first post.

I believe this summer has been the busiest yet most productive of my early adult life. I turned 23 on June 23rd, so it was my Golden Birthday. They say this year is supposed to be full of positivity and prosperity and these past view months have not been wrong !

I graduated undergrad at Rider University in May of 2017, so this is my first summer where I attended classes at Drexel University. Between working full-time, going out, going down the shore, vacationing, studying, and spending time with family and friends, this summer has been one to remember for sure!

Other than staying busy, I found out this summer I am going to be a Godmother to the son of one of my best-friends since we were 10 years old, I was promoted to Marketing Coordinator at work (wage increase as well $$$), and I had the opportunity to represent the East Coast in an Age Group All Stars swim meet down in Richmond, VA.

Seriously, I do not know how I managed to keep my boyfriend happy and entertained, maintain my 3.6 gpa, and attend all the outings my family, friends, and co-workers threw this summer.

September means less shore trips and Philly patio bar visits and more time at the pool. I am a retired Division I athlete with over 15 years of competitive swimming experience but I currently coach 10-14 year olds at my old swim club, Jersey Storm Swimming (yes, that's a plug!). My nights after work and Saturday mornings are back to body weight workouts with my kiddos and chlorine burn in the eyes. Hands down my favorite time of the year!

If my life wasn't crazy and so on-the-go (hence the blog name) I would be entirely lost. So thank you universe for throwing it all at me. I can definitely handle it !
